Tero Kiviniemi appointed as Head of Construction Services

Tero Kiviniemi appointed as Head of Construction Services Finland business
segment of YIT Corporation 

Tero Kiviniemi (37), M.Sc. (Eng.), has been appointed on September 25, 2008 as  
head of the Construction Services Finland business segment of YIT Corporation,  
effective from 1 January 2009. Kiviniemi will report to YIT Corporation's CEO   
Hannu Leinonen, and he will also become a member of YIT Group's Management      
Board.                                                                          

Tero Kiviniemi has previously served as head of the Infraservices division      
within the Construction Services Finland business segment, and prior to that as 
business unit manager of Structural engineering and regional infraservices.     
Kiviniemi has been employed by YIT Corporation since 1996 and held positions in 
civil engineering and residential construction.                                 

Ilpo Jalasjoki, who is the current head of the business segment, will change to 
a part-time pension. Jalasjoki will report to YIT Corporation's CEO Hannu       
Leinonen
