City National's New Manhattan Beach Banking Office Now Open


MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif., Sept. 29, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- City National Bank, California's Premier Private and Business Bank(r) and the largest bank headquartered in Southern California, today opened its new banking office to serve the Manhattan Beach-El Segundo business corridor.

The 3,100-square-foot Manhattan Beach Banking Office, located at 2231 Rosecrans Avenue, offers a full range of financial services and features an ATM accessible 24/7, a night depository and convenient parking. It also offers private banking services.

Business hours are 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday.

Jasmin Khaghan is vice president and branch manager. Moses Ramler is vice president and financial sales advisor.

Jasmin Khaghan

Khaghan oversees a team responsible for delivering the bank's full range of financial products and services, including commercial, consumer and real estate loans; cash management; deposit; international banking; and foreign exchange. She also will manage the office's customer service and business development efforts.

Before joining City National, Khaghan was branch manager and assistant vice president of Union Bank's Santa Monica office. With that bank since 2000, she earlier held financial services and customer service positions and completed its management training program.

A resident of Los Angeles, Khaghan earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from California State University, Northridge. She is a member of the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce.

Moses Ramler

Ramler is responsible for portfolio management and business development.

Most recently, Ramler was chief financial officer for Hui Onipa'a, LLC, a property development start-up focusing on homes for low- to moderate-income families. Earlier in his career, he spent almost six years with Washington Mutual Bank, where he served as vice president and manager of its Century City financial center and, before that, as a senior personal financial representative.

Ramler earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and sociology from the University of Redlands.

A resident of Hermosa Beach, Calif., he is a member of the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce and a board member of the Lanakila Outrigger Club in Redondo Beach.
