About the Author
Born in Long Beach, California, on the leading edge of the post-WWII baby boom, after high school M.R. Miller spent the next twenty years raising children. Following this bow to convention, she spent three years on the Puget Sound in Washington State where she began writing again before returning to Southern California - her present home. The author attended business school and has been working as an Office Manager for some three hundred plus engineers and technicians and taking writing, editing, proofreading and composition courses at the college level for the last ten years, while bringing up the next generation of family.
