About the Author and Artist
Lucy T. Geringer, Author
As a former elementary teacher, Lucy T. Geringer has educated children for more than 27 years. She applies her vast knowledge of early childhood education to developing the Cleo-cat-tra series of First Concept Books for children ages 2-6. She holds a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia, and takes great pride in writing books that are fun to read and educational at the same time. Cleo-cat-tra's ABCs is second in the series of Concept Books for early readers. Other books include Rhymes and Times of Cleo-cat-tra and Counting in the Woods with Cleo-cat-tra.
Elly Evans, Illustrator
Elly Evans earned a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Florida. She taught English to speakers of other languages at Daytona State College, and later became an ESOL paraprofessional at her sons' elementary school, where she has loved working with children for many years.
