The decision of the appeal committee operating at the Public Procurement Office

On 2 October 2008, the appeal committee operating at the Public Procurement
Office passed a decision, which decaled invalid the directive of the Director
General of the Estonian Road Administration qualifying AS Merko Ehitus as the
best offeror in the public procurement proceedings regarding the reconstruction
of the road between Kukruse and Jõhvi. AS Merko Ehitus will appeal the decision
of the committee to the Tallinn District Court. 
 
Merko Ehitus has made the best offer in this procurement, the company will
stand by it and intends to protect the offer and the position of the company
with all legal means available.
