New C-RAD products attracted great interest at annual American ASTRO meeting.

C-RAD AB with its three fully owned subsidiaries develops new and innovative
solutions for the use in advanced radiation therapy. The company exhibited at
the ASTRO annual meeting 21 to 24 September 2008 in Boston, MA. The company
presented new functionalities of the Sentinel system, and continued
announcement of the unique GEMini detector system, as a follow up from the
recent ESTRO meeting in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The annual oncology meeting in USA, ASTRO is one of the most established and
highly attended events within the radiation therapy industry. The meeting this
year took place 21 to 24 September 2008 in Boston, MA.
The laser scanner system, SentinelTM was demonstrated with two new
functionalities: The motion detection functionality which offers a new
dimension of accuracy for intra fractional movements during treatment, and an
interface to the Elekta/Medical Intelligence HexaPOD Evo couch system. The
integration between the Sentinel and the HexaPOD Evo system offers the
customers an efficient and accurate system for patient alignment and adjustment
in six degrees of freedom.
The ASTRO event was also the start of cooperation between C-RAD, Acceletronics
Inc. and Radiology Oncology Systems Inc. (ROS) for distribution of the Sentinel
system in the US. Acceletronics and ROS launched the cooperation with C-RAD in
their respective exhibition booths and customers were guided to C-RAD for
product demonstrations.
A first version of the detector system GeminiTM for use in radiation therapy
was demonstrated. The detector system with its unique technology and
outstanding performance was presented to attendees of the conference and
meetings were held with representatives of all major companies working in
radiation therapy.

Erik Hedlund, CEO, C-RAD AB:
"This coordinated launch at the US ASTRO and European ESTRO events of new
functionality of our Sentinel scanning system and the introduction of our
unique GEMini detector system has attracted great interest from customers and
from representatives from companies working in radiation therapy. The agreement
with Acceletronics and ROS regarding distribution of Sentinel in the US has
started off in an excellent fashion and is part of our increased activities in
the US. The feedback from ASTRO confirms the strategy to establish C-RAD as a
supplier of advanced systems and solutions to the radiation therapy society."
