Sectra names new President of the Sectra Communications subsidiary

Dr. Michael Bertilsson has been appointed the new President of Sectra
Communications AB, a subsidiary of the IT and medical-technology company Sectra
AB in Sweden. Dr. Bertilsson is currently manager of Sectra Communication's
Crypto Division and will assume his new position of October 6, 2008. 

Michael Bertilsson, 46, has worked at Sectra since 1989. He holds an MSc in
engineering from the Institute of Technology at Linköping University and Doctor
of Technology in information theory. His doctorial thesis dealt with cryptology
and how to share secrets. 

”Michael Bertilsson has extensive experience of the company and our markets,
competitors and customers. He holds great insight regarding the challenges and
possibilities facing the company and, accordingly, has excellent prerequisites
for developing operations within our Secure communications systems business area
in the future,” says Dr. Jan-Olof Brüer, CEO and President of Sectra AB.

Michael Bertilsson replaces Jan-Olof Brüer who, parallel with his position as
CEO and President of Sectra AB, has been Acting President of Sectra
Communications since spring 2006.
