On 9th October 2008, the executive board of Bechtle AG decided to buy back
up to 2.12 million of their own shares (which is 10 per cent of the capital
stock) at the stock exchange (XETRA), effective immediately.
With the buyback the business takes advantage of the current cost-effective
share price, in order to be able among other things to use their own shares
as
liquid funds for growth at a later date.
The resolution passed at the Annual General Meeting on 17th June 2008,
which authorised the company to purchase its own shares amounting to but
not exceeding 10 per cent of its capital stock at the time of the
resolution, until the 16th November 2009, is the basis for the repurchase.
