About the Author

After graduating from Roosevelt University Richard Seib kicked around the art world eventually opening and operating his own art gallery for nine years. After leaving the art scene, he spent a number of years traveling the country as a manufacturer's rep. During those years, often traveling the back roads of our country and living in rural motels, he turned to writing. Fascinated by the stories of local history and lore, he began recording those unusual and sometimes mysterious tales that set their world apart from the urban life most know. 'Dead Storm' is the result of those experiences.

Mr. Seib resides in a rural setting west of Chicago with his wife and their two children. Richard continues to answer the call of adventure by traveling, and exploring new geographical regions, while delving deeply into local history and folklore.
