Kingdom), notified us pursuant to Section 21 para.1 WpHG (German Securities
Trading Act) that on October 6, 2008 Sophos Holdings GmbH has exceeded the
thresholds of 3%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% of the voting rights in Utimaco
Safeware AG (Oberursel, Germany) ISIN: DE0007572406, WKN: 757240 and on
that day holds 24.99 % of the voting rights (= 3,684,887 shares, each
carrying one voting right). These voting rights are attributed to Sophos
Holdings GmbH pursuant to Section 22 para. 1sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG (German
Securities Trading Act) via following by Sophos Holdings GmbH controlled
company holding 3% or more in Utimaco Safeware AG:
- Umbrella Acquisitions GmbH (Frankfurt, Germany)


On October 8, 2008, Sophos Public Limited Company (Abingdon, United
Kingdom), notified us pursuant to Section 21 para.1 WpHG (German Securities
Trading Act) that on October 7, 2008 Sophos Holdings GmbH has exceeded the
thresholds of 25%, 30%, 50% and 75% of the voting rights in Utimaco
Safeware AG (Oberursel, Germany) ISIN: DE0007572406, WKN: 757240 and on
that day holds 85.81% of the voting rights (=12,652,856 shares, each
carrying one voting right). These voting rights are attributed to Sophos
Holdings GmbH pursuant to Section 22 para. 1sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG (German
Securities Trading Act) via following by Sophos Holdings GmbH controlled
