Enter the Mysterious and Hidden World of The Shiren -- New Fantasy Novel Will Take You to An Extraordinary World Locked in An Age-Old War

BRANDON, Fla., Oct. 13, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- To enter the domain of The Shiren is to disappear from view, while in plain sight. Beautiful and skilled Lauren Makenzie is swept into this realm and becomes a pawn used by the antagonist lords of this world. Follow her as she unravels the truth about the creatures known as The Shiren in this intriguing novel written by author Rene H. Davidsohn.

The great Manor of Shar belongs to Shafalar, one of the first level rulers of the Shiren -- hidden, vampirish people. These lords of darkness control advanced levels of arcane power and operate silently, unseen, within the framework of modern society. Lauren Makenzie, a skilled and trained Shiren huntress, becomes prisoner within one of these domains, and becomes a member of Ciredorn. There Lauren sees glimpses of this hidden world unfold as unlikely alliances are formed. She and others learn first hand of the telepathically and sorcerous Shiren, and of their vampirish domains. Lauren learns that her greatest perceived enemy becomes her, as well as thousands of others, only chance for survival.

Lauren works at first unwillingly and then desperately for Neverien's unwilling nemesis, the lord Shafalar, a guardian of life. She wouldn't have believed she along with others would become allies with the Shiren of Ciredorn, striving to defeat the lord Neverien, who loves only violence, chaos and death. But what happens when in a twist of irony, she confronts her former fiance Shawn, a Master hunter of the Shiren, and leader of a New World hunting team? Will she turn her back on Ciredorn and the Shiren? Witness the exciting events as they unravel in The Shiren!
