The shares of Glitnir banki hf., will be removed from trading on NASDAQ OMX Iceland hf. (the Exchange) after closing of trading today, October 14th 2008 in accordance with the company's request from October 14th, 2008. The removal of shares is made with reference to Art. 7.1 of Listing Requirements of the Exchange.
