SUOMEN TERVEYSTALO OYJ'S NEW SHARES AND ADJUSTMENTS TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF
STOCK OPTIONS 2008 ENTERED IN THE TRADE REGISTER 

Suomen Terveystalo Oyj's new shares related to the rights issue, in total
12,964,758 shares, have today been entered in the Trade Register and recorded
in the shareholders' book-entry accounts. 

The new shares are subject to public trading on the Official List of the NASDAQ
OMX Helsinki Ltd. together with the other Terveystalo's shares as of on or
about 16 October, 2008. As of today the new shares entitle to full dividend and
other rights attached to the shares in the company. 

After entering the new shares in the Trade Registry, the total number of the
Suomen Terveystalo Oyj's shares is now 81,106,421 and share capital EUR
811,064.21. 

The adjustments made to the terms and conditions of the company's stock options
2008 as a consequence of the rights issue have become effective as of
today as a result of their entry in the Trade Register.
