Enea Launches Initiative to Deliver Customer Centric Software Solutions

New Approach Combines Commercial, Standards-Based, Open Source
          Software with Best-in-Class Professional Services

2008 - Enea® (Nordic Exchange/Small Cap/ENEA), a world leading
provider of network software and services, today announced a series
of initiatives geared toward bringing stronger focus to the company's
key vertical markets. The initiatives will combine the company's
world-class services expertise and market-leading commercial software
with a new emphasis on select open source software projects, thereby
helping to foster industry growth and standards adoption."Enea has traditionally relied on its extensive portfolio of
commercial software products and industry-specific services expertise
in order to help customers solve problems," said Åsa Landén Ericsson,

open, solutions-centric approach that utilizes our unique software

expertise, as well as open source software. This approach will ensure

As a key part of this strategy, Enea is announcing that it is joining
the OpenSAF Foundation and contributing to the OpenSAF Project, with
the goal of enhancing and complementing the company's portfolio of
commercial, high-availability middleware products for telecom
equipment manufacturers.
Enea will continue to aggressively promote and enhance its market
leading, standards-based Enea Element middleware product while at the
same time developing an offering for customers who are looking for an
