What a Life! Definitely -- One Man's Well-rounded Life Began With the Radio and RCMP

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Oct. 21, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Relive the sense of wonder when the first big machines, rockets and computers were only on the rise in Dean Hadley's new book, What A Life! Hadley shares his life experiences as well as the wonders of his times in this autobiographical account.

Having relocated to more places than the fingers on both his hands, as well as a family penchant for handiwork and gadgetry may have triggered Hadley's eventual slant towards high-tech and multifarious jobs. Whatever it may have been, Hadley seems to have eagerly proceeded with life, as can be inferred from his broad range of experiences. His first real-life job at the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, although initially low-tech at his admission, was the dynamic that propelled him into a historically significant experience aboard the R.C.M. Police St. Roch, a schooner, the first ship to go from Pacific to Atlantic via the Arctic North West Passage. The voyage lasted 27 months, two arctic winters and 10,000 miles. Next came the Royal Canadian Air Force, it was truly a matter of one experience prompting another equally exciting one and Hadley was game all throughout.

Hadley unveils his tale with an enthusiastic bounce and a fondness from start to finish, and this is what makes What A Life! exhilarating while being educational and endearing. For orders, log on to www.Xlibris.com.
