pursuant to section 21 (1) WpHG that its percentage of voting rights in our
company exceeded the threshold of 5% on 13.11.2007 and amounted to 6,27%
(1655698 voting rights) as per this date.
Of these voting rights, 6,27% (1655698 voting rights) are to be attributed
to Asset Value Investors Ltd., London, United Kingdom, pursuant to section
22 (1) sentence 1 no. 6 WpHG.

Voting rights of the following shareholder holding 3% or more in Deutsche
Wohnen AG are to be attributed to Asset Value Investors Ltd., London,
United Kingdom:
- British Empire Securities and General Trust plc.

Further, Asset Value Investors Ltd., London, United Kingdom, has notified
us pursuant to section 21 (1) WpHG that its percentage of voting rights in
our company exceeded the threshold of 10% on 17.09.2008 and amounts to
