Zaldiva Inc. Implements Marketing Program to Over 4,000 Local Businesses -- Expects Big Upswing in Holiday 'E-Auction' Business

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Oct. 22, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Zaldiva, Inc. (OTCBB:ZLDV) (XETRA:UZ8DE.DE) (Frankfurt:UZ8F.F), a specialty and online distribution system wholesaler and retailer of new and vintage Pop Culture collectibles, comic books and memorabilia, announced today that it has put into place the mechanisms and human resources necessary to meet and take advantage of an upcoming surge in holiday business.

Zaldiva has recently created and implemented a marketing program targeting key businesses in Southeast Florida for inventory reduction and product distribution. Over 4,000 businesses in a 20 zip code radius have begun to receive information from the company and results are already being realized.

"A significant number of companies have already responded to our program," said Nicole Leigh, President of Zaldiva. "Some have signed contracts and delivered product, others have given notice that they will need to move inventory to raise capital for this holiday season."

The company is currently in phase two of its e-Business marketing initiative. Phase three will begin with an upcoming 2-part business and investor seminar/workshop being held in November 2008. Advertisements for the event will be placed in key local newspapers and will be a focal part of a multi-level marketing initiative.

Businesses in the area, while already responding well to the initiative, are just beginning to realize how they can increase the range of their distribution system and turnover inventory quicker. Many local merchants have product that has sat idle for months, if not years. Given the current state of the economy, liquidating inventory and raising capital can be a make or break proposition for the small business owner -- not to mention individuals with collections of their own.

While a large amount of the direct to E-Auction product is being distributed via eBay(tm), the company utilizes its own website and other e-auction facilities. Sales have been recorded now in over 25 countries on items ranging from vintage automobiles to edelbrock manifolds, vinyl records and Barbie dolls. The total list encompasses just about everything which brings in all types of individuals and businesses.

"Individuals are also increasing the demands on our E-Auction division," said Nicole Leigh. "There are a lot of people here in South Florida trying to either raise money for the holidays or to find the perfect gift for family, friends and business associates. This is where Zaldiva comes into position."

Zaldiva is a distribution system unique to the specialty retail industry, focusing its product orientation on the comics and collectibles genre. The company combines a highly visible brick and mortar location in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and an e-commerce website and portal (www.Zaldiva.com) which operates in conjunction with a series of ancillary websites in addition to its auction house capabilities. Zaldiva's current collection available of classic, pop-culture and modern memorabilia can be seen at www.Zaldiva.com.
