The solar energy company systaic AG (SYSTAIC) has signed an agreement with
Saint-Gobain Glass France S.A., a subsidiary of Compagnie de Saint-Gobain
S.A, Paris. Subject of this agreement is a strategic cooperation of the two
companies in the areas of distribution and development. The cooperation
will cover the business segments SYSTAIC Energy Roof systems and SYSTAIC
Automotive (photovoltaic applications for the automotive industry).

In this collaboration, SYSTAIC will benefit from Saint-Gobains specialist
knowledge regarding sophisticated industrial processes of construction
materials, as well as in the area of energy-efficient building materials.
The companys wide expertise in glass production places Saint-Gobain also
among the leading suppliers in the automobile sector where SYSTAIC is
active with its automotive division. The new cooperation is to create
synergy effects in both areas.

With regard to the planned activities, Saint-Gobain and SYSTAIC envisage a
tight strategic cooperation in Marketing, Distribution and Development of
current and future SYSTAIC products and solutions.
