Santa Claus Needs Help! -- A Children's Picture Book With a Funny New Story About Christmas

KITCHENER, Ontario, Oct. 23, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- For children around the world, Santa Claus is a living symbol of Christmas. While giving or exchanging gifts has always been a long-lasting tradition of the season, most don't realize that Santa Claus' task of spreading happiness often involves hard work. A special and whimsical look at Christmas is set to unfold with the release of Santa's Pants, the new picture book authored by Susan Reid.

Santa's Pants tells a lighthearted Christmas story about the difficult and hectic life Santa and his elves share together. It begins when Santa Claus, while preparing things for the holidays, tries on a new suit -- only to discover a big hole at the bottom of his pants. In order to get the pants mended before it's too late, Santa has to find someone capable of solving his problem. Will Santa be able to get his pants patched in time? Or will his problem derail the Christmas season entirely? Read the book to find out.

Filled with fun and adventure elements, Santa's Pants is a colorful, lesson-filled portrait of the yuletide season, and why it requires so much work and preparation to happen. To order a copy, feel free to visit your local bookstore or shop online at Xlibris.com today.

About the Author

Susan Reid lives in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Susan started out as an artist and has many murals and paintings throughout Kitchener - Waterloo County. But as fate has it, her wild imagination didn't stop there. Always fascinated by children's books and cartoon illustrations, especially Anime, her mind often came up with many story lines. At the drop of a hat, she could come up with totally new and refreshing stories to tell any child for their bedtime story. So instead of keeping all her thoughts to herself, she decided to share them with everyone by becoming a children's storyteller.
