CANCOM IT Systeme AG increases revenue by 23.2 percent during first nine
months of 2008

Preliminary accounts:
Euro 255,5 million sales revenue during the first nine months of 2008,
compared with Euro 207,4 million in the same period of 2007 (up 23,2
percent)
Euro 76.6 million gross profit, compared with Euro 61.8 million in the same
period of 2007 (up 23.9 percent)
Euro 6.0 million EBITDA, compared with Euro 5.5 million in the same period
of 2007 (up 9.3 percent)
Euro 4.2 million EBIT, compared with Euro 4.2 million in the same period of
2007 (up 0 percent)

The CANCOM Group, one of the foremost German suppliers of IT infrastructure
and professional services, has achieved its best operational result ever,
partly due to acquisitions, based on preliminary accounts.

The CANCOM Group´s consolidated sales revenue amounted to Euro 255.5
million, compared with Euro 207.4 million in the first nine months of 2007
(up 23.2 percent).
In the third quarter of 2008 consolidated sales revenue reached Euro 98.4
million compared with Euro 69.6 million in the same period of 2007, an
increase of 41.4 percent. This increase is mainly due to the acquisition of
Sysdat GmbH.

The CANCOM Group´s consolidated gross profit amounted to Euro 76.6 million,

compared with Euro 61.8 million in the first nine months of 2007 (up 23.9
percent).
In the third quarter of 2008 consolidated gross profit reached due to
significant contribution of Sysdat GmbH Euro 28.7 million compared with
Euro 20.1 million in the same period of 2007, an increase of 42.8 percent.
The gross profit margin during the first nine months was 30.0 percent
compared with 29.8 percent in the same period of 2007.

Consolidated EBITDA was up 9.3 percent in the first nine months, rising to
Euro 6.0 million after reaching Euro 5.5 million in the same period of
2007. In the third quarter consolidated EBITDA was up 37.5 percent rising
to Euro 2.2 million after reaching Euro 1.6 million in the same period of
2007.

In the first nine months consolidated EBIT amounted to Euro 4.2 million.
This corresponds to previous year´s level. In the third quarter
consolidated EBIT was up 30.5 percent rising to Euro 1.5 million after
reaching Euro 1.1 million in the same period of 2007.

The CANCOM Group´s consolidated third quarter EBITDA and EBIT have been
positively influenced particularly by the acquisition of Sysdat GmbH, hence
the shown 2008 results are not fully comparable with the previous year.

CANCOM Ltd., the 100% UK subsidiary of the CANCOM Group currently can´t
oppose recession in the United Kingdom. In addition there are discrepancies
out of a vendor claim resulting from parts of business that have been
discontinued already and for which a provision had to be built summarizing
this former business area under discontinued operations. Based on the
results of an impairment test all options including a sale of the
subsidiary will be checked in November. This may result in an amortization
in the amount of up to two million EURO of the book value of investment
which may account for discontinued operations if applicable. If so the
corresponding decrease of result won´t effect the EBIT. It will be unique
and non cash, i.e. it won´t have a cash flow reducing effect for the group.

For the first time impending recession has shown some marks in the third
quarter with regards to the accepted orders. Due to the stronger service
business contributing two thirds to the CANCOM group´s Gross Profit in the
meantime and due to a solid estate of the balance sheet the management sees
itself in a good position compared with many competitors.
