IVG Immobilien AG:  Niesslein appointed Spokesman of the Board of
Management

Bonn: Today, the Supervisory Board of IVG Immobilien AG has appointed Dr
Gerhard Niesslein as a new member of the Board of Management of IVG
Immobilien AG, effective as of 1 November 2008. Dr Niesslein will be the
Spokesman of IVG’s Board of Management.

Dr Niesslein has extensive experience gained from a number of executive
positions held in real estate companies and banks. He was CEO of DeTe
Immobilien GmbH from 1999 until autumn this year, when he retired from this
position; since then, he has served as Chairman of the company’s
Supervisory Board. Prior to 1999, Dr Niesslein was a member of the Board
of Management of Helaba.
