JSC "Trasta Komercbanka" (TKB) ended the first three quarters of 2008 with a profit of 7,95 million lats. The Bank's assets as at 30 September 2008 were 254,70 million lats, the volume of capital and reserves - 35,47 million lats. The amount of deposits attracted by "Trasta komercbanka" as at 30 September was 180,45 million lats, but the volume of loans issued by TKB reached 123,64 million lats. At the end of the third quarter TKB managed to preserve its leader positions in the Latvian market according to the data of the Association of Commercial Banks of Latvia. The return on equity (ROE) of Trasta Komercbanka at the end of September was 31.86% which is the best result in the banking sector of Latvia, but the return on assets was 3.74%, which is the second best result in Latvia.
