About the Author

Carolyn Yontz-Oetting is a fifty-six year old housewife. She and her husband Jim have been married for twenty-four years. They have two beautiful daughters, Jami, 22, and Kimberly, 19. They also consider their dogs, Liza Janie and Bobby, to be special members of their family. The author has degrees in both Accounting and Business Administration. Four years ago, however, she was injured and began having medical problems. As a result, she is unable to work. Since 1989, Ms. Oetting has found the computer as a great source of amusement as well as a great aid in the her previous work as an accountant and auditor. Prior to her injuries, the author was very active, as she enjoys biking, swimming and hiking. When she was working, she participated in community charity work. She found all these activities to be exhilarating. The author's love for Jesus, family, Liza Janie, and this book has given her a positive attitude during the tough times in the last four years.
