Bad Oeynhausen, October 31, 2008 Dr. Manfred Puffer is leaving the
Supervisory Board of Balda AG, listed in the Prime Standard segment of the
Frankfurt Stock Exchange, as of November 30 at his own accord to take up a
new professional task. Dr. Puffer was member of the Balda Supervisory Board
since August 1, 2008. The Board of Management and the Supervisory Board
like to thank Dr. Puffer for his work and regret that he is leaving. A
candidate to succeed him has not yet been proposed.
