The unaudited results for the first nine months of 2008 of Limarko laivininkystės kompanija AB (LLK) were prepared in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards. The revenue of LLK for the first nine months of 2008 amounted to LTL 113.5 million (EUR 32.9) and increased by 9 % when compared to the revenue for the first nine months of 2007 of LTL 104.4 million (EUR 30.2 million). During January-September of 2008, LLK achieved the EBITDA of LTL 24.9 million (EUR 7.2 million) and the EBITDA margin was 22%. During the first nine months of 2007 the EBITDA was LTL 28.7 million (EUR 8.3 million) and the EBITDA margin was 27,5 %. During the first nine months of 2008 the profit from the main activity (EBIT) was LTL 7.0 million (EUR 2.0 million). The profit from the main activity during the first nine months of 2007 was LTL 13.6 million (EUR 3.9 million). This result was mainly influenced by high fuel prices, which form a substantial part in the structure of LLK expenses. The loss of LLK for the first nine months of 2008 was LTL 3.4 million (EUR 1.0 million). The pre-tax profit of LLK for the first nine months of 2007 was LTL 15.3 million (EUR 4.4 million). The loss during the reporting period resulted mainly from the rise of the US Dollar during the second half of this year. However, in the long term the Company foresees a positive effect of the strengthening US Dollar for the results of main activity and cash flows of the Company.
