Drillisch AG: Prelim 9-months report: Growth strategy continues; Sales
€265.6 million, EBITDA +13% to €30.5 million

Maintal, 03. November 2008 – The mobile-communications service provider
Drillisch (ISIN DE 0005545503) is continuating its positive development in
the business year of 2008.

With 2.3 million subscribers (Prev. year: 2.1 m) and sales of €265.6
million Drillisch generated an EBITDA of €30.5 million (+13%). The
EBITDA-Margin of the Group reached 11.5% in the first nine months of 2008,
which is equivalent to our long-term profitability corridor.

Because of declining stock-exchange prices, we realise a
non-liquidity-related writedown on our strategic stake in freenet AG in the
amount of €151.1 million as of 30 September.

The operating business is doing fine on a sustainable basis. The board
therefore confirms the already published guidance for 2008 - an EBITDA of
approx. €40 million and ca. 2.35 million subscribers.
