LASSILA & TIKANOJA PLC STOCK EXCHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT 3 November 2008 12.30 CHANGES IN LASSILA & TIKANOJA'S MANAGEMENT Lassila & Tikanoja plc's Board of Directors has appointed Ville Rantala as CFO as of 1 March 2009, as the current Vice President and CFO Sirkka Tuomola is retiring. As of 3 November 2008, Laura Aarnio, Kimmo Huhtimo and Inkeri Puputti have been appointed as new Group Executives. M.Sc. (Econ.) Ville Rantala (born in 1971) has acted as Director of Finance and Business Development of Suunto Oy from 2007. Before that he has acted, for instance, in UPM-Kymmene Corporation as Finance Director of Fine and Speciality Papers Division and as Business Controller. M.Sc. (Econ.) Laura Aarnio (born in 1975) has acted as Accounting Director since 2005. She worked as Manager, Group Accounting since 2001 and between 1999 and 2001 in group accounting in the former Lassila & Tikanoja Group. M.Sc. (Tech.) Kimmo Huhtimo (born in 1970) is Director responsible for product and process development, marketing communications and Contact Centre. Huhtimo joined the company in 2005 and was appointed to his current position on 13 October 2008. Before that he acted as Director of Product Development and Sales and as Product Development Manager. Earlier, Huhtimo held business and service concept planning and development positions in Elisa Corporation and TietoEnator Corporation. M.Pol.Sc. Inkeri Puputti (born in 1964) has been appointed HR Director as of 3 November 2008. Puputti joined L&T as HRD Director in 2006. Earlier, she has worked in tasks related to HR development in Rautakirja Oy, Oy Sinebrychoff Ab and HPY (now Elisa Corporation). Anna-Maija Apajalahti, Vice President, Property and Office Support Services, Jorma Mikkonen, Vice President, Industrial Services, and Arto Nivalainen, Vice President, Environmental Services still continue as Group Executives as well as Sirkka Tuomola, Vice President and CFO, until 28 February 2009. The Accounting Director reports to the CFO, the rest to the President and CEO. Former Group Executive Kari Korpelainen, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, has resigned from his position with L&T.
