Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft, Frankfurt am Main, Germany, informed us as
follows on November 3, 2008:

We herewith inform you pursuant to Section 21 (1) of the German Securities
Trading Act (WpHG) that our voting share in HOCHTIEF Aktiengesellschaft,
Opernplatz 2, 45128 Essen, Germany, fell below the thresholds of 10 %, 5 %
and 3 % on October 31, 2008 and now amounts to 2.58 % (equivalent to
1,805,000 shares).

Of this, 2.50 % (equivalent to 1,750,000 shares) are attributable to
Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft, Kaiserstraße 16, 60311 Frankfurt am Main,
via its subsidiary Atlas-Vermögensverwaltungs-GmbH, Louisenstraße 63, 61348
Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe, pursuant to Section 22 (1) Sentence 1 No. 1 WpHG.
