Coupon Payment on SC “Parex banka” Subordinated Notes Issues for the First Coupon Period

In compliance with the requirements of the Latvian Central Depository Rules
No.8 “On Dividends, Principal and Other Income Payments”, we declare that on 10
November, 2008 SC Parex banka make a coupon payment (interest) on its
subordinated notes issue (ISIN code: LV0000800696) for the first coupon period
(from May 8, 2008, till November 8, 2008). 
Coupon payment is being made through Central Depository of Latvia and in
accordance with its standing terms and conditions. 
Total calculated interest amount is EUR 294'250, the size of the coupon payment
(interest) per one note is EUR 5.5. 
According to the terms of the issue, the coupon rate on its notes until May 8,
2013 is calculated at 11 % p.a. 
Bank's subordinated notes are quoted on SC “Riga Stock Exchange” Baltic Debt
Security List.
