VPN Solution
Integralis and Global Crossing combine security and IP expertise
Theale, Reading 10 November 2008 Integralis, leading IT security
service provider and Global Crossing, a leading global IP solutions
supplier, have combined forces in creating a comprehensive solution that
provides highly secure IP services to the Government sector in the UK. By
taking Integralis renowned Managed Security Services (MSS) and wrapping
them around Global Crossings IP services, the companies have been able to
create a simple yet unified offering that ensures customers deploy the very
best in secure VPN networks.
Integralis has built a specific Security Operation Centre (SOC) to partner
with Global Crossings Network Operation Centre (NOC), providing enhanced
and highly secure IP services to customers. The collaborative approach
extends the NOCs capabilities by incorporating the MSS portfolio
attributes, thereby ensuring resilient support for large numbers of devices
and data. Other components of the MSS offering will also help customers to
address issues around the increasing need to share critical data across
different departments and multiple locations, rather than operating within
their own departmental silos. This provides a more cost-effective solution
while increasing productivity by removing barriers to sharing critical
information.
In addition, the Integralis Security Information Service (ISIS) technology
will be deployed in the SOC to provide event correlation, management and
automated notification and reactive operation, helping Global Crossing to
develop a comprehensive customer-facing portal for reporting, fault
management and resolution.
