Northrop Grumman Awarded Contract Field Teams Task Order


HERNDON, Va., Nov. 10, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Contract Field Teams (CFT) office has awarded Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) a task order under the CFT indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract to provide all squadron maintenance services for Navy Test Squadron VX-30 at Point Mugu Naval Air Station, Calif.

Under the task order, valued at approximately $26 million over two years, Northrop Grumman will provide support for VX-30's four C-130 Hercules and four P-3 Orion aircraft.

Northrop Grumman was one of seven large companies awarded the CFT ID/IQ in July, which has a potential collective value of up to $10.12 billion over seven years, to provide modification, maintenance and repair on U.S. Air Force, Army and Navy weapons systems and support equipment at operational installations in the United States and abroad.
