GSW Worldwide, Ignite Health and Palio Take Home Gold

The MM&M Awards, sponsored by Medical Marketing & Media magazine, recognize exceptional creativity and marketing effectiveness in the healthcare sector. Winners are determined by an independent panel of experts drawn from all of the marketing specialties ranging from media buying/planning to direct marketing and advertising. This year's event garnered over 700 entries from more than 150 competing companies.

GSW Worldwide, a leading global healthcare advertising agency, swept the category of Best Overall Advertising Campaign for Professional Press. The agency was awarded a Gold for their 'Tilt a Jumbler' campaign for MGI Pharma's Post-Operative Nausea and Vomiting (PONV). GSW also nabbed the Silver award in the same category for Astellas Pharma US 'Itchcraft' campaign for Protopic, an ointment used to treat moderate to severe eczema.

Ignite Health, a leading healthcare interactive agency, was honored with a Gold award in the Best Interactive Initiative for Consumer category for Advanced Medical Optics's (AMO) Reality LASIK (iLasik.com), a video-based consumer website that provides patient education and professional insights on the Lasik procedure and new technological advancements in vision correction. Palio, a leading full-service healthcare advertising and communications agency, received a Gold award in the Best Corporate Advertisement/Campaign category for 'Helping Patients Stay on Therapy,' a print campaign they developed for Adheris, a leading compliance and patient education company.
