EAST FARMINGDALE, N.Y., Nov. 10, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Re:Think Recycling Group has acquired PureTech Plastics with plans to grow the business and build on the company's legacy of quality.
PureTech Plastics has a unique position in the industry, and Re:Think Recycling plans to leverage it. As one of the only companies to have two non-objection letters from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, PureTech provides customers high quality post-consumer resin rPET that can be used for the highest quality end product, including food and beverage packaging. Co-owner and Chief Financial Officer, Carter Smith said, "We will invest capital in PureTech Plastics to expand its operations, enhance product quality, and increase capacity to better serve customers." Immediately, PureTech Plastics will extend its operations from five to seven days a week.
