Rautaruukki divests colour-coating line in Sweden

Rautaruukki has sold its colour-coating line in Gävle, Sweden to the Swedish
company Trelleborg Rubore AB. The colour-coating line in Gävle makes
colour-coated special products primarily for the automotive industry. The 35
persons employed on the line will transfer to the service of the buyer on
completion of the transaction.

The transaction will have a positive impact of around EUR 2 million on
earnings, which Ruukki will recognise during the fourth quarter of this year.

The transaction is part of the company's structural change and is in line with
Ruukki's strategy to divest units not forming part of its core business. The
transaction was completed on 11 November 2008.
