NORVIK BANKA Advertisement and Communications Department's commentary on LETA question

Press secretary of NORVIK BANKA received a question from the Latvian news
service agency LETA to comment the support program for Latvian fiancial
institutions offered by the government of Latvia. 

The planned answer:

Although the bank does not have necessity to resort to a support program, we
positively estimate the fact that the government of Latvia offered such a
program for Latvian financial institutions. The fact that the government is
ready to make advances in such question gives an additional confidence in
stability of the financial system of Latvia and its integration in the general
financial system of Europe and world. 

It should be noticed that the shareholders of our bank confirm their readiness
to support the bank in the maintenance of the balanced development of business
- if there will be such a necessity. 

At the moment NORVIK BANKA has two syndicated loans, one of which (LVL 15 mln.)
will be payed-out at the beginning of December of this year, second (LVL 18
mln.) - in July of next year.
