HealthSport, Inc. Electrolyte Strips Continue to Build in Japan With Yuco, Inc. Leading an Aggressive Marketing and Distribution Program

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif., Nov. 11, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- HealthSport, Inc. (OTCBB:HSPO) announces the shipment of an additional $90,000 order of electrolyte strips to Suzusho Ltd. through its affiliate, Yuco, Inc., which specializes in health and sports-related product sales. HealthSport has already fulfilled orders to Yuco totalling more than $280,000 in the past 12 months, and InnoZen has received a manufacturing deposit for an additional 200,000 cassettes.

As of November 1st, Yuco has confirmed retail distribution of the electrolyte strips in more that 300 retail outlets. In addition to traditional retail chains, Yuco has announced that they are entering into a partnership with a major company called "Sports One" that operates amateur soccer/futsal and basketball events in Japan (about 2,000 events per year). Sports One will be distributing and promoting the electrolyte strips at their games and events, as well as heading up marketing and distribution efforts in soccer/futsal specialty stores. Yuco has also announced another partnership with a company called "Nihon Inter Systems" which is affiliated with over 300 e-commerce and mobile-commerce companies. This has opened up additional means of sales and distribution to millions of people throughout Japan.

"Yuco has become a valued partner for us, with all of their success in marketing and distribution to a wide range of markets throughout Japan," states HealthSport Chairman, Rob Davidson. "We knew that Japan, being the originators of edible film strips, would be an important market of distribution for us. For that reason, InnoZen developed a unique formulation especially for Japan, using natural sweeteners, and I believe that the special attention paid to the preferences of this market has led to our increasing and prolonged success."
