TEMPE, Ariz., Nov. 11, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Yogurtini, Tempe's first self-serve frozen yogurt shop announces its official grand opening on November 13th, 2008. Located across from ASU campus on Rural and University, Yogurtini offers 10 fat-free flavors of premium frozen yogurt each day. Yogurtini will celebrate its opening with free yogurt for all on Thursday, November 13th from 3-7pm. Donations will be accepted for Cure PSP Society for Progressive Supernuclear Palsy.

"The excitement about the Yogurtini opening has been really amazing. We have literally had lines outside our doors before we even opened," said Chelsey Nelson, co-owner of Yogurtini. "We are different than your typical frozen yogurt shop because you can make your own creation and pay by the ounce. We also have a very upscale and contemporary design and aesthetic. The response we keep hearing is how fun it is to eat and hang out here," she continued.

Yogurtini offers 10 fat-free flavors each day, rotating from its extensive list of exclusive frozen yogurts and over 50 toppings. There is always the Yogurtini "house" tart, a no sugar added option, and a non-dairy option. Aside from these specialty flavors, there are also the classics such as vanilla, chocolate, and cheesecake.

"There is a new excitement and growth in the frozen yogurt category. A premium self-serve frozen yogurt shop is something the Tempe and Arizona community has been waiting for. We are looking forward to expansion all across the valley," said Natasha Nelson, co-owner of Yogurtini.
