NEW YORK, Nov. 11, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- British Airways has launched a three-day sale today offering air travel to London and 18 additional European destinations -- with an added 15% discount on land arrangements.
World Traveller economy roundtrip airfares begin at $396 between New York (JFK or Newark) and London. Other sale fares begin at $478 between New York (JFK or Newark) and Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Dusseldorf, Madrid, Munich, Nice, Prague, Rome and Vienna and other European destinations.
Comparable airfares are available from all 18 British Airways' U.S. cities to destinations across Europe. Sample roundtrip fares include Boston/Madrid starting at $518, Miami/Vienna beginning at $538, Dallas, Ft. Worth/Nice starting at $598 and San Francisco/Madrid starting at $558.
Fares are available for sale through Thursday midnight (EST), Nov. 13, 2008. Travel is valid from Nov. 18 - Dec. 17, 2008 and Dec. 24, 2008 - Mar. 22, 2009.
Travellers purchasing roundtrip tickets within this period will also receive a 15% discount on land arrangements throughout Europe, including hotel, car rental, airport/hotel transfer and sightseeing, such as London Sightseeing Pass and Paris Express City Tour.
Travellers also have the option to upgrade to World Traveller Plus, the airline's premium economy cabin, starting from $150 each way from select U.S. gateway cities to London.

World Traveller roundtrip fares must be booked and purchased seven days in advance and are nonrefundable. World Traveller Plus roundtrip fares must be booked and purchased 21 days in advance.
