Fabasoft AG (ISIN AT0000785407, WKN 922985, Prime Standard) announces
preliminary Group figures for the first half of the fiscal year 2008/2009
(1/4/2008-30/9/2008):
- Sales revenues EUR 9.6 million (EUR 9.9 million in the first half of the
fiscal year 2007/2008)
- EBITDA EUR -0.4 million (EUR -0.02 million in the first half of the
fiscal year 2007/2008)
- EBIT EUR -1.4 million (EUR -1.1 million in the first half of the fiscal
year 2007/2008)
- Cash flow from operating activities EUR -1.9 million (EUR -2.0 million in
the first half of the fiscal year 2007/2008)
- Cash and cash equivalents: EUR 15.3 million as of 30/9/2008 (EUR 17.4
million as of 30/9/2007)

The development of cash and cash equivalents also particularly reflects the
dividend payment of EUR 468 tsd for fiscal year 2007/2008 and one item
amounting to EUR 2,787 tsd for the repurchase of own shares within the
period under review. The own shares were withdrawn in October 2008
following a resolution by the managing board.

Sales revenues amounted to EUR 4.6 million during the second quarter
(1/7/2008-30/9/2008) of the fiscal year 2008/2009 (EUR 4.6 million in the
same period of the previous year). The EBIT of the second quarter amounted
to EUR -1.2 million (EUR -0.7 million in the same period of the previous
year).
