PricewaterhouseCoopers Professionals to Discuss Emerging Issues in IT Management At CA World 2008

Topics of Discussion to Include Governance, Risk and Compliance and e-Discovery Issues


NEW YORK, Nov. 13, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) principal Andrew Toner will be discussing issues such as managing IT in financial services and navigating through the credit crisis at the CA World 2008 Conference at The Venetian Congress and Sands Expo Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada November 16 - 20, 2008. Mr. Toner will be speaking on a panel entitled, "Managing IT in financial services during the credit crisis." The panel, which will take place on Tuesday, November 18 at 11a.m. in Marco Polo Room 804, will focus on both the major business issues facing financial services firms during the credit crisis and best practices by technologists on how to deal with these issues.

Savalli will present a discussion on "Enhanced effectiveness through risk and controls monitoring" on Tuesday November 18 at 8:30a.m. in Veronese Room 2405. Mr. Savilli will share first-hand experiences working with companies that are using continuous monitoring techniques to increase reliance on control procedures.
