Humors From the Medical Minds in The Best of Wits End -- A Book That Contains the Brainiest Humors

RICHLAND, Wash., Nov. 14, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Experience the funny side of doctors as this book gives you the best humors ever created. Harold J. Ellner, M.D. offers The Best of Wits End, a compilation of the funniest humors extracted from The Wits End contest done by a magazine during a fifteen-year span. Who knew doctors could be flat-out funny?

Wits End is a department of a magazine that is devoted to publishing physicians' pastimes and interests. For several decades, the last page of Diversion, the leisure magazine for physicians, held a monthly contest to tap the lode of wit in medical minds. It required doctors to come up with puns, one-liners, and other crimes against the English language. It filled some needs such as strengthening the camaraderie of doctors as doctors; it invoked formidable satirical talent and it surfaced creative expressions of criticism at latter-day constraints on medical practice under the cloak of humor.

Visit every page as it tickles your funny bones with humorous situations and lines. From using medical terms to x-rated jokes, this is a must-read book best shared with friends and family. Order a copy now.
