Please be advised that the Directors of United Plantations Berhad on 15th November 2008 have declared an Interim Dividend of 20% per share less 25% tax or 15 sen net per share for the year ending 31st December 2008. The dividend is payable on 5th February 2009. The Share Transfer Books on the Copenhagen Branch Register and Register of Members will be closed from 8th January 2009 to 12th January 2009, both days inclusive.
