Turbon AG – Calling of an extraordinary Shareholder Meeting and change in
Supervisory Board and Executive Board


In today’s Supervisory Board Meeting of Turbon AG Supervisory Board and
Executive Board decided on the calling of an extraordinary Shareholder
Meeting on February 5, 2009. Agenda item of the extraordinary Shareholder
Meeting will be the redemption of 170,000 of in total 400.000 own shares
currently held by Turbon AG. The redemption of the additional 230,000 own
shares has been decided today by the Executive Board of Turbon AG with the
consent of the Supervisory Board based on the authorization of the ordinary
Shareholder Meeting on June 12, 2003. Additional agenda item of the
extraordinary Shareholder Meeting on February 5, 2009 will be the renewed
authorization for the acquisition of up to 10 % own shares. In today’s
meeting Dr. Juno Nuber resigned from his position as Chairman of the
Supervisory Board for personal reasons. The new Chairman of the Supervisory
Board Mr. Hans-Joachim Scholten has been elected in today’s meeting.
Co-Chairman of the Executive Board Alan Howard will leave the company for
reasons of age on December 31st, 2008. From January 1, 2009 Aldo DeLuca
will serve as sole Chairman of the Executive Board.
