Balti Investeeringute Grupi Pank AS, that has until now operated under the trademark BIG, introduces trademark „BIGBANK” in Estonia from Thursday, November 20th. The new trademark will first be intruduced in Estonia. Trademark „BIGBANK” will also be intruduced in Latvia in connection with the start of operations in the form of a branch. The company name will currently remain Balti Investeeringute Grupi Pank AS, in the future the company name and the names of the branches will be changed for better compatibility with the trademark. According to the Chairman of the Management Board of BIG, Targo Raus, the main reason for the trademark change is harmonisation of the image of the bank in international markets and utilising marketing synergy. „The new trademark will not bring about changes in corporate field of activity or principals, we will continue offering consumer credit and term deposits as a specialised bank,” noted Raus.
