Release of a Voting Rights announcement

On November 20, 2008, Polar Capital LLP, London, Great Britain, has
informed us according to sec. 21 para. 1 of the WpHG that its Voting Rights
on Praktiker Bau- und Heimwerkermärkte Holding AG, Kirkel, Germany, ISIN:
DE000A0F6MD5, WKN: A0F6MD, have exceeded the 3% limit of the Voting Rights
on November 19, 2008, and on that day amount to 3.09% (this corresponds to
1,796,686 Voting Rights).
According to sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 No. 6 of the WpHG, 3.09% of the Voting
Rights (this corresponds to 1,796,686 Voting Rights) is to be attributed to
Polar Capital LLP.
