AWD publishes reporting dates for 2009

following dates for the 2009 financial year.

Extraordinary General Meeting: 24 February 2009 
Annual Press Conference and publication of Annual Report 2008: 24 March
2009
Interim Report Q1 2009: 5 May 2009 
Interim Report H1 2009: 26 August 2009 
Interim Report 9M 2009: 11 November 2009 

As was already made public in an ad-hoc announcement of 14 August 2008,
AWD’s majority shareholder, Swiss Life Beteiligungs GmbH, aims to carry out
a so-called squeeze-out of the remaining shareholders. This will be decided
upon, as AWD’s Board of Management has resolved after receiving a request
from Swiss Life Beteiligungs GmbH, at an Extraordinary General Meeting to
be held on 24 February 2009. Another item on the agenda of that Meeting
will be the approval of a profit-and-loss-transfer agreement between Swiss
Life Beteiligungs GmbH and AWD. The intention to conclude such an agreement
was already announced in the takeover offer made by Swiss Life Beteiligungs
GmbH on 14 January 2008. The invitation and the agenda for the
Extraordinary General Meeting will be separately announced in good time by
AWD Holding AG.
