Changes were registered in the Management Board for JSC Preses nams, the
subsidiary of the joint stock company Ventspils nafta, as the previous Board
member Dace Kaņepe left her position in line with a mutual agreement.
The Board members Solvita Masule, Raivis Skuja un Anatolijs Mahlovs continue
their work in the Management Board for JSC Preses nams.
Ilga Kurāte was appointed in the position of the Financial Director of JSC
Preses nams. Her previous working experience is permanently connected with the
position of the Financial Director at JSC Latvijas finieris.
JSC Preses nams is the largest printing and publishing concern in the Baltic
States and the leader of this industry in the region. In the summer 2008, JSC
Preses names opened its new book production plant in Jāņsili, Silakrogs in the
Ropaži civil parish, Riga district, and LVL 13.5 million were invested into its
foundation. With the new book production plant, JSC Preses nams has
strengthened its leader positions in the area of production of high-quality
books in the Baltic countries and Northern Europe, becoming one of 300 largest
book producers in the world.
