Announcement of the granting of Powers of Attorney to the Board of Directors of 
vestjyskBANK A/S                                                                


Pursuant to section 29 of the Danish Securities Trading Act, vestjyskBANK A/S   
hereby announces that the Board of Directors have received 238 unqualified      
Powers of Attorney representing overall nominal share capital of DKK            
14,813,541.00 corresponding to 17,23% of the company's share capital and to     
73,20% of the voting rights at the extraordinary general meeting which will be  
held on 2 December 2008.                                                        

Upon termination of the extraordinary general meeting, the right of the Board of
Director's to vote in accordance with the Powers of Attorney granted shall      
cease, after which the Board of Directors shall possess 0% of the voting rights 
in vestjyskBANK A/S.
