Release of a Voting Rights announcement

FMR LLC, Boston, Massachusetts, USA informed us that on November 24th, 2008
the percentage holding of the voting rights in SolarWorld AG, Bonn,
Germany, fell below the threshold of 3 per cent and amounts to 2.23 per
cent (2488651 voting shares).

According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 in connection with
sent. 2 of the WpHG, all voting rights were attributed to FMR LLC.
