Tel Aviv/Israel; November 30, 2008 Metis Capital Ltd. (Prime Standard:
EIC; TASE: MTSC) announces its consolidated interim financial statements
for the first nine months of fiscal year 2008.
Total revenues of the consolidated company in the first nine months of 2008
amounted to 71.1 million, compared to 74.3 million in the same period
of 2007.
Of the total revenues, 70 million were derived from the sales of cars and
spare parts, compared to 73.4 million in the same period of 2007, 0.9
million were derived from rental income compared to 0.7 million in the
same period of 2007, 272 thousands were derived from business consulting
services (to Japan Auto) compared to 141 thousands in the same period of
2007.
The gross profit of the consolidated company in the first nine months of
2008 amounted to 12 million 16.9%, compared to 12.7 million 17.1%
in the same period of 2007.
The profit (loss) before income taxes of the consolidated company in the
first nine months of 2008 amounted to ( 0.2) million, compared to 5.4
million in the same period of 2007.
The net profit (loss) of the consolidated company in the first nine months
of 2008 amounted to ( 10.5) million, compared to 2 million in the same
period of 2007.
